Sacred Fire

Usually, fire is male and water is female but on a deeper level, they can switch. Fire becomes the Goddess and is female, water becomes the Lord. The earth which is yin produces fire. Fire on the earth rises toward the sky and the sky which is yang, produces water and a descending flow. This is a cross polarity, an oscillation between male and female. The same happens with our chakras and kundalini. The root chakra, which is earth, produces an upward rising fire, also called shakti, also called kundalini and the crown chakra which is the Lord, produces a downward flow of divine nectar called soma. This is the internal movement of energy, where fire becomes female and water becomes male.
